This petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India was brought challenging the order of Rent Control Authority, Manendragarh, dated 6.1.2021. This petition was entertained by this Court only for the reason, that the C.G. Rent Control Tribunal was not functioning on that date. Subsequently, the Chairman of the said Tribunal has been appointed by the State Government and the Tribunal has started functioning.

As the petitioner has statutory remedy available against the order of Rent Control Authority under Section 13 of the Rent Control Act, 2011, and the said Tribunal is available before which the appeal against the

Page No.2 order of the Rent Control Authority can be prosecuted, therefore, this petition cannot continue, which is disposed off at motion stage. The interim order granted by this Court on 3.2.2021, shall remain effective for further three weeks. In the meanwhile, the petitioner has liberty to approach the Rent Control Tribunal and seek remedy final or interim, as may be necessary.
