1. The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not taking a final decision on the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment.

2. According to the petitioner, his father was working under the respondents as a Teacher (Panchayat) and who died in harness on 28.01.2014. Thereafter, the petitioner had approached the respondents for considering his claim for compassionate appointment, however, till date no decision has been taken by the respondents and there have been correspondences made at

different level under the respondents for processing the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment.

3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, the writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondents No. 2 to 4 to take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner in accordance with the scheme for compassionate appointment that was applicable on the date of death of the deceased employee at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
