The petitioner who was working as railway servant was made to retire from service by order dated 31.03.2015 on the basis of wrong entry of date of birth of the petitioner in his service book at the time of joining of railway department which has been challenged by way of this writ petition. 2.

Since, the petitioner is a railway servant, the matter is cognizable by the Central Administrative Tribunal under the provisions of Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 and, therefore, the writ petition is

dismissed as not maintainable. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal for redressal of his grievance. No cost(s).
