The limited grievance which the petitioner in the present petition has raised is that the petitioner has not been released of his pensionary benefits. The retiral dues also has not been released inspite of fact that the petitioner stood retired from service w.e.f. 31.03.2017. 2.

It is by now almost two years time that the petitioner has retired. Document dated 26.03.2018 (Annexure P/3) reflects that the department in the process of finalizing his retiral dues and pension had sought for certain deposits that the petitioner has to make and also for fulfilling other formalities. According to the petitioner, he has deposited the amount as directed vide Annexure P/3 and has also submitted all the relevant details sought for by the respondents vide their letter dated 26.03.2018, however thereafter the respondents have not taken any decision. 3.

Given the said facts, this court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending, rather ends of justice

would meet if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents No.2&3 to ensure that the retiral dues and the pensionary benefits which the petitioner is entitled for is processed, finalized and released at the earliest without any further delay to the petitioner within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondents No.2&3 so far as the order passed by this court is concerned. 4.
