Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 24.08.2015 The grievance of the petitioner in the present case is the illegal retention of General Provident Fund payable to the petitioner by the respondents. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner in the instant case has expired about five years back and as such the petition has abated as no action has been taken for bringing the legal heirs of the petitioner on record. Be that as it may, the present writ petition is dismissed as having abated. However, if there is any dues payable to the petitioner, the legal heirs of the petitioner may approach the respondent Authorities by moving appropriate representation and in case of such representation is made, the same shall be considered and decided by the concerned Authorities in accordance with the rules.

With the aforesaid observation, the present Writ Petition is dismissed as having abated.
