The limited grievance raised by the petitioner through this petition is that though the petitioner has preferred an appeal against the order of penalty way back on 03.04.2017, till date, the appeal has not been decided.

Learned State counsel would submit that the appeal of the petitioner would be decided expeditiously.

Taking into consideration the submissions and the nature of grievance, I am not inclined to keep this matter pending but it would be expedient to dispose off the petition with a direction to the appellate authority to decide petitioner's appeal as early as possible preferable within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order considering that it has remained pending since 03.04.2017. 4.

The petition is disposed off.
