1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail, as he apprehends his arrest in connection with Crime No.261/2019, registered at Police Station Rajpur, District Balrampur Ramanujganj C.G. for offence punishable under Section 307 of the IPC.

2. It is alleged that the applicant has set ablaze a lady with whom he was residing. Even if there is delay in lodging the

MCRCA No. 156 of 2020 FIR, the fact remains that the lady suffers 70-80% burn injuries over her face, neck, thigh and other parts of the body.

3. Considering the nature of allegation, no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out. Accordingly, the application is rejected. However, if the applicant surrenders and applies for regular bail, the same shall be considered expeditiously. SD/- (Prashant Kumar Mishra) Judge Ayushi
