1. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the present petition is only for seeking a direction to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioners before respondent No.1. He would further submit that more than 1 year has passed but the appeal preferred by the petitioners is still pending, therefore, respondent No.1 Secretary Department Of Home / Police Secretariat may be directed to decide the appeal of the petitioners within stipulated time

period.

Considering the fact that the limited prayer has been made to decide the appeal which is pending, respondent No.1 Secretary Department Of Home / Police Secretariat is directed to decide the appeal of the petitioners by a speaking order within a further period of 60 days from the date of production of this order.
