1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is non releasing of the petitioner's GPF amount inspite of fact that the petitioner has retired from service more than 15 years back.

2. According to counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation w.e.f. 31.12.2003 on the post of Assistant Teacher. Though the other retiral dues payable to the petitioner have been released, but the GPF amount lying to the credit of the petitioner has till date not been released. According to the petitioner, in his passbook it reflects that an amount of Rs.1,08,290/- is payable to him under the GPF amount, but for some reason the same has not been released till date.

3. Given the said submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner, this court considering the nature of dispute does not intend to keep this petition pending any further, rather ends of justice would be served if the respondents No.2 & 3 are directed to ensure that GPF account of the petitioner is scrutinized at the earliest and the amount lying to the credit of the petitioner is released to him at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from today. Needless to mention that in case if any amount is lying in his credit, the said amount shall also carry interest till the date it is released to the petitioner.
