1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the Annexure P/4 dated 23.01.2021.

2. Vide the said order, the petitioner has been declared in-eligible for participating in the recruitment process for appointment to the post of Teacher of Math. The rejection has been on the ground that the petitioner does not have a graduation in Math as he is an Engineering Graduate.

3. The issue involved in the present writ petition has been considered by this Court in a bunch of writ petitions in WP(S) 3789 of 2019 decided on 17.11.2020.

Given the said fact that an identical issue has already been decided by this Court, this Court is of the opinion that the present writ petition also deserves to be and is accordingly allowed in-terms-of the order passed on 17.11.2020 in WP(S) No. 3789/2019 and other connected matters. The impugned order declaring the petitioner ineligible stands quashed/setaside. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner herein also from the stage the petitioner was declared ineligible. Subject to the petitioner meeting all other requisite eligibility criteria, the case of the petitioner also be considered and an appropriate decision be taken so far as the appointment is concerned along with other candidates who have been declared eligible.
