1. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners were working with the Municipal Corporation, Bilaspur prior to 1997,which would be evident from Annexure P-6 wherein the name of the petitioners appears at Serial No. 3 & 6. It is stated that out of the list of the persons who were working prior to 1997 namely Ramlal Vishwakarma son of Bhuvan Lal and Suneshwar Singh Son of Jeevrakhan has been regularized which would be evident from Annexure P-10 dated 10.10.2019. It is stated that though the initial step for regularization of the

employees working prior to 1997 were taken but the names of the petitioners were left out.

2. Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the respondent No.3 consider the case of the petitioners also and take a decision as to whether the petitioners also are similarly placed or not as compared to the persons whose names have already been forwarded by the Corporation.

3. It is expected that, the respondents while sending the names of the employees for regularization would definitely keep in mind the seniority of the persons who have been engaged as Daily Wage Employees in the department subject to the candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria in respect of the post against which they are likely to be regularized.

4. Let the respondent No.3 take a decision so far as the case of the petitioners are concerned within a period of 60 days from today.
