1. Petitioner, who is working as Samvida Lipik/clerk on contract basis in the establishment of District Central Co-operative Bank Limited, Rajnandgaon at Kawardha, has preferred this writ petition seeking regularization on the said post.

2. Admittedly, no scheme for regularization of the employees of the respondent Bank has been framed either by the Bank or by any other authority at higher

level. The petitioner being an employee of a Co-operative Bank, the appropriate remedy for her for redressal of her grievance lies in moving before the Registrar Co-operative Societies under Section 55 of the Chhattisgarh Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 (for short 'the Act, 1960').

3. In view of the above, since the petitioner has an alternative remedy of approaching the authorities constituted under the Act, 1960, the present writ petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate authority in accordance with law.
