Petitioners have prayed for a direction to the respondent No.5 to verify the land records so that land acquisition compensation
determined by the Land Acquisition Officer can be disbursed in accordance with law.

Petitioners and intervener are in contest in respect of title of subject land bearing khasra No.234/1 area 490 sq.mtr. situated at Near Chingari Nala, Raipur. Disbursement of compensation is at hold since the year 2012, therefore, the interest of justice demands that the verification of land record be done soon so that the land acquisition compensation be disbursed to the person entitled for it.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 SDO (Revenue), Raipur, to verify the land record and pass appropriate order so that the compensation is paid to the rightful owner of the property.
