Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that respondent authorities are not granting family pension to the petitioner and, therefore, he may be allowed to make representation before the respondent No. 2 in view of the order passed by Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in Writ Appeal No. 281 of 2013 (Lakhanram Sahu & Others v. State of Chhattisgarh & Others) and other connected writ appeals, decided on 26.02.2015.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.
The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and is accordingly allowed.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation before the respondent No. 2 - Director, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Raipiur in view of the order passed in Lakhanram Sahu & Others (supra) along with copy of this order and, in turn, the respondent No. 2 shall consider and decide the petitioner's representation for grant of family pension expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order along with the representation after hearing the parties.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed off. No cost(s).
