The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents for considering the case of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment.

The case of the petitioner is that her husband namely Sukhchain Chandrawanshi posted as Shiksha Karmi Grade-II under the respondent No.1 died in harness on 14.11.2012. After the death of the deceased employee, the petitioner in the capacity of the widow applied for compassionate appointment on 07.02.2013. The said application has till date not been finally decided by the respondents. Meanwhile, it has been informed by the petitioner that she has meanwhile obtained the qualification of class-12th and as such she becomes eligible for grant of compassionate

-2appointment as per the policy available in the Department i.e. for appointment against the post of Panchayat Secretary. 3.

Given the fact that the case of the petitioner has till date not been rejected and that the petitioner in the capacity of the widow had moved an application as early as on 07.02.2013, let the respondents No.3 & 4 take an appropriate decision in the case of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 4.

It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondents No.3 & 4, so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned. 5.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
