1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on a proceeding before the Estate Officer wherein certain ejectment proceeding have been commenced, the petitioner has sought for the Hindi translated copy of the original application along with the annexures which are filed before the Estate Officer, as he is not aware of the English language. He further submits that the said application has been rejected on the ground that in the similarly like nature of litigation the petitioner has preferred a writ petition before the High Court which is in English language. He would further submit that as per the Raj Bhasa Adhiniyam 1976, the petitioner is entitled to get the copy of documents in Hindi.

Learned counsel for the respondent opposes the argument and would submit that the instant petition has been filed to delay the proceeding which is pending before the Estate Officer since 2012, however the respondent would supply the Hindi translated copy of the application and the anneuxures in hindi which is filed in English to the petitioner, as early as possible.

Considering the submissions made, the respondent is directed to supply the Hindi translated copy of the original suit and the annexures before the Estate Officer before the next date of hearing or any extended date. It is further observed that thereafter the petitioner shall not get unnecessary adjournment and the proceeding pending before the Estate Officer shall be concluded as early as possible.
