---Respondents For petitioner :

For State :

Mr. Sameer Behar, P.L.

Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 29/01/2019.

1.

The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order (Annexure P-1) dated 11/01/19 whereby the contractual engagement of the petitioner has been terminated after paying him one month's salary in lieu of notice. 2.

Perusal of the record would show that the contract of the petitioner has been terminated on the ground that the petitioner was found to have been involved in a criminal case for an offense under Section 465, 467 and 471 of IPC, and the charge-sheet has also been filed before the Court of JMFC, Bilaspur.

3.

Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, this Court is of the opinion that the impugned order appears to have been passed in accordance with the terms of the contract and the impugned order also reveals the reasons which led to the issuance of the termination of contract.

4.

This Court does not find any strong case made out by the counsel for the petitioner calling for an interference with the impugned order. 5.

This writ petition accordingly stands rejected. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Harneet JUDGE
