Learned counsel for the petitioner alleges willful disobedience of order dated 12.07.2017 passed in WPS No.875 of 2017 on the ground that even after lapse of 7 months, no order has been issued nor petitioner has been communicated that his case was considered for promotion.

This Court had not fixed any time limit but it was expected that the process would be completed within four months. However, till date, process has not been completed. Therefore, now I am inclined to fix a time limit of further three months to complete the exercise. If it is not done, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the contempt petition. 3.
