The members of the petitioners association were working as Field Worker in different health centres in the Department of Health and Family Welfare. By notice (Annexure-P-1), the Chief Medical and

Health Officer, Raipur has informed the members of the petitioners association that in view of the communication issued by the Department of Health Services, Raipur on 28.02.2013, their services shall remain discontinued after 31.03.2014.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the association has submitted representation before the State Government, therefore, he would not press this petition at this stage and would like to request the State Government to decide the representation. 3.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, the respondents are expected to decide the representation by a reasoned order within a period of 4 months from today. 4.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case.
