1. Since both the writ petitions involve common question of law and fact, they are being disposed of by this common order.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners' land has been acquired by the respondent authorities in lieu of which no compensation has been paid to them till date, therefore, a direction may be issued to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the petitioners' case for grant of compensation.
3. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
4. Be that as it may, the Collector (Land Acquisition), Raipur is directed to consider and decide the petitioners' case for grant of compensation in lieu of their land, if the petitioners' land has been taken, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petitions stand finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
