The petitioner's grievance is limited in nature, as ventilated, in this petition is that though the petitioner has filed a departmental appeal against the order of penalty of removal from service, appeal has been remained pending for the last 2 years.

Learned counsel for the respondent would submit that appeal of the petitioner would be decided within a reasonable time, if not decided till date.

Considering that the appeal against the order of removal from service remained pending for the last 2 years, it would be expedient in the interest of justice to direct respondent No. 3 who is appellate authority to decide petitioner's appeal within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if already not decided till date. 4.
Accrodingly, the petition is disposed off.
