Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that though the petitioners are entitled for HRA, but no HRA is being paid to the petitioners, for which they have also made

representation to the respondent authorities, but the same has not been considered and decided till date.

Learned State counsel would submit that the petitioners' representation will be decided expeditiously.

Be that as it may, the respondent authorities are directed to consider and decide the petitioners' representation for grant of HRA in accordance with law, on its own merits within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, both the writ petitions stand disposed of. No order as to cost (s).

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
