Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that by order dated 31.12.2017 (Annexure - P/1), the respondent No. 2 has declined to award compensation to the petitioner in lieu of his land which has been acquired by the respondent authorities for construction of road, feeling aggrieved against which this writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make a representation before the respondent No. 2 - Collector, Baloda Bazar for grant of compensation for his land and, in turn, the Collector, Baloda Bazar shall consider and decide the petitioner's representation for grant of

compensation, if any, expeditiously within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 3.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No cost(s).
