Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's land was acquired by the respondent/authority for construction of road but neither the land acquisition proceeding was initiated nor compensation was paid for which the petitioner made several representation to the authorities but it was not decided.

Considering the submission of the petitioner that the land of the petitioner have been acquired but compensation has not been paid, the petitioner may make a representation to the Collector, Bemetara who in turn shall consider the case of the petitioner after demarcation and if it is found the land of the petitioner is acquired and the road exist over the

land, then suitable compensation may be paid in accordance with law. The said exercise may be carried out within an outer limit of six months. 3.
