1. Heard counsel for the parties.

2. Petitioner has preferred this writ petition to direct the respondents to consider his case for promotion on the post of Principal from the date 25/05/2016 with all consequential benefits.

3. The petitioner is a lecturer posted at Government Higher Secondary School, Rajendra Nagar, Bilaspur.

4. Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the instant writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 1 to decide his representation dated 26/04/ 2017 within a stipulated time.

5. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, the submission made by the counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction that the respondent No. 1 shall decide the petitioner's representation dated 26/04/2017 within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order in accordance with law and procedure.
