(2) The petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Tehsildar, Berla, District Bemetara appointing the respondent No.4 as Kotwar of Village - Sandi, Tehsil Berla.

(3) Admittedly, the order under challenge is appealable under Section 44 of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959. (4) In view of availability of the alternative remedy, this writ petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, the same is dismissed. However, liberty is reserved in favour of the petitioner to prefer an appeal before the appropriate authority by availing the remedy, as provided under the provisions of law, within a period of 30 days from today.
