Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner would submit that petitioner's father who was working as Sub-Engineer in the Water Resource Department, District Raigarh is missing since 1989, and now the petitioner has made a representation before the respondent authorities for grant of compassionate appointment which is pending consideration since 18.08.2012 and has not been decided till date.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the respondent authorities are directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation for grant of compassionate appointment expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
