Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the departmental enquiry as initiated against the petitioner is pending consideration for last three years and as the same is not being considered and decided by the respondent authorities and therefore, direction may be issue to the respondent authorities to decide the same expeditiously.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable. 3.

Be that as it may, respondent No. 2 - Collector, Ambikapur is directed to consider and take a decision on the pending departmental enquiry as initiated against the petitioner in accordance with law preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
