1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is that the application for adding the name of two of the sons of the petitioner as nominee in the service records has not been decided by the State.

2. According to the petitioner, he has repeatedly approached the authorities in the department but till date the name of all the children

of the petitioner have not been added as nominee in the service records.

3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would be served if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 to take a decision on the claim of the petitioner in accordance with rules at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
