HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR Order Sheet CRMP No. 314 of 2019 Rakesh Saraogi Versus State of Chhattisgarh 01.02.2019 Ms. Astha Shukla, P.L. for the State.

The present CRMP has been filed seeking for extension of time in conclusion of trial pending consideration before the Court of C.J.M., Raipur in respect of Crime no. 92 of 2011 registered at Police Station, Golbazar, Raipur for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B of IPC.

For the reasons assigned in the request letter made by the concerned officer, this Court finds that a strong ground has been made out for grant of extension of time.

Accordingly, the CRMP stands allowed. The concerned Trial Court is granted one month more time to conclude the trial. The concerned trial Court is directed to ensure that the trial in any case should be completed within a period of 1 month.

Before parting, we would like to mention that the earlier CRMP was disposed off on 11/07/18 wherein this Court had specifically directed the officer to mention the case number of the trial whenever he issues a PUD to the High Court seeking extension of time. It appears that the concerned officer has not read the order passed by this Court.

Let the concerned District Judge place the earlier order passed by this Court before the concerned officer who shall take note of the observations made by this Court in all further PUDs that he would be making. Let a copy of this order be placed before the District Judge, Raipur for necessary compliance.
