Admittedly, the petitioner has an alternative remedy under Section 91 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayats (Appeal and Revision) Rules, 1995 to challenge the impugned order of removal of Sarpanch in exercise of powers under Section 40 of the Rules, 1995.

Let the petitioner avail the remedy within 30 days from today. If such appeal is preferred, the Appellate Authority shall do well to decide the same at the earliest, preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of submission of appeal. The petitioner may also move and press her interim application before the Collector. If such application is filed, the same may be decided within one month from the date of moving the application. 3.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
