1. The petitioner was transferred from Sukma to Bilaspur on 29.1.2014. However, he was not relieved from Sukma, therefore, he moved WPS No.2326/2014 for his relieving. The said writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation.

2. While rejecting the petitioner's representation by order Annexure-P/1 dated 31.5.2014, the Director General of Police has observed that if the petitioner moves fresh application for transfer, the same shall be

considered and decided by the Police Establishment Board on its own merits.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail opportunity as observed by the Director General of Police in the impugned communication.
