Hon'ble Shri Justice Goutam Bhaduri Order On Board 03/02/2020 Heard.

1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as Assistant Engineer (Generation) with the Electricity Department in the year 1984. He was promoted as Executive Engineer in the year 1999.

Subsequent to that he was promoted as Superintending Engineer in the year 2011, however, after 2011 many juniors were promoted but the petitioner was not promoted. He further refers to Annexure P-10 i.e. the representation and would pray that the representation of the petitioner may be decided wherein the entire facts have been narrated.

2. Without any observation on the merits, at this stage, since the prayer is made that the representation of the petitioner may be decided, Respondent No. 2 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner. The petitioner, however, is given liberty to file a fresh representation to Respondent No. 2 along with the copy of this order which shall be decided within a further period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
