Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that one month time be granted to the petitioners to make payment of ₹ 1,21,889/- to the government treasury.

In the interest of justice and taking into consideration the fact that the order was passed by the Collector of Stamps, Bilaspur on 7.10.2004, I deem it expedient to grant one

month time to the petitioners to deposit a sum of ₹ 1,21,889/- to the government treasury.

In view of this statement, the interim order dated 26.11.2008 shall stand vacated.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
