Petitioner would challenge the order of suspension passed by the Registrar, Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, on 13-102008. 3.

By order dated 23-10-2008 prayer for grant of interim relief was rejected by this Court and thereafter, the matter is listed today for the first time after lapse of about 91⁄2 years.

No one appears on behalf of the petitioner to inform this Court as to whether any departmental enquiry was ever constituted against the petitioner or the impugned order of suspension still survives, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with an observation that if the cause of action still survives, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court afresh on the same or any subsequent cause of action relating to the issue.
