Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner would submit that petitioner has been placed under suspension since 26.09.2016 and even after lapse of 1 year and 4 months his suspension order has not been revoked by the respondent authorities and, therefore, he may be allowed to prefer a representation before the competent authority for redressal of his grievance.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and is accordingly allowed.

Be that as it may, petitioner is at liberty to make a representation before the competent authority for revocation of his suspension order and if such a representation is preferred by the petitioner within 15 days from today along with copy of this order then, the competent authority shall do well to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of representation along with certified copy of this order. 5.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
