Order on Board Per Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan, Chief Justice 13/02/2018 This writ petition is filed alleging that certain persons are in the unlawful custody and they are held up forcibly by brick manufacturers who are in Nepal as of now. Following the earlier order, the learned Assistant Solicitor General has obtained instructions. He submits that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is looking into the complaint.

He further submits that there are errors in the identity of the location as mentioned by the Petitioner since there is no place in Nepal in the name that is suggested by the Petitioner in the writ petition and the materials therewith. To this, the Petitioner, through his learned counsel, submits that the correct identity of the area is communicated to the Assistant Solicitor General. In fact, that has been done. This means that this Court can rest assured that the affairs in connection with those persons who are allegedly detained would gain requisite attention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Government of India. We record this and close this writ petition without prejudice to further legal action, in due course, if necessary.
