The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for through the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to respondent no.3 before whom an application for partition as well as for correction of name is pending in respect of the property that situates at Khasra No. 136 area 0.057 hectare, Khasra No. 221 area 0.502 hectare, Khasra No. 222/2 area 0.809 hectare, Khasra No. 280 area 1.230 hectare in Village Farhada, Patwari Halka No.28, District Bilaspur.

According to the petitioner, he had preferred an application as early as on 17.7.2017 and the Patwari has also submitted his report, but no final order till date has been passed. The petitioner therefore prays that the authorities be directed to take a decision on the said application at the earliest. 3.
Learned State Counsel does not oppose the limited relief sought for by the petitioner.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.3 to take up the proceedings of the petitioner so far as his application for partition and correction of name is concerned and the said proceedings be proceeded and concluded at the earliest, preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order by the petitioner before respondent no.3.
