1. The limited grievance that the petitioners have in the present writ petition is non granting of pay scale and other benefits attached to the promotional post.

2. According to the petitioners, they were initially working on the post of Assistant Grade III and have been promoted vide order dated 05.10.2018 on the post of Assistant Grade-II. Though they have been promoted and discharging the duties of the promotional post of Assistant Grade-II w.e.f. October, 2018, till date they are being paid the salary of Assistant Grade-III and they have not been given the benefits and pay scale attached to the post of Assistant Grade-II.

Given the limited grievance that the petitioners have, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to ensure that the petitioners who have been promoted from October, 2018 shall be paid the salary and other benefits attached to the post of Assistant GradeII immediately unless the order of promotion has been withdrawn on the administrative ground. Let a decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
