1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has made in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the Respondent No. 3 to take a decision on the application that the petitioner has filed, so far as his grievance of the respondents not purchasing the entire 114 quintal of paddy which the petitioner has cultivated as against only 59 quintal, which is being purchased by the respondents.

2. According to the counsel for the petitioner, the respondents have purchased only 59 quintal of paddy on the ground that a portion of the property has been sold by the petitioner. This fact is disputed by the petitioner and he submits that entire 7.67 acre agricultural land still

-2stands in the name of the petitioner and he is the exclusive owner of the said property and he has not sold any portion of the said land, therefore, the authorities were directed to purchase 114 quintal of paddy.

Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet, if the Respondent No. 3 is directed to decide his representation pending before him/her after due verification at the earliest, preferably within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the Respondent No. 3, so far the order passed by this Court is concerned.

4. With the aforesaid observation, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
