Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was a ExSarpanch completed her tenure in November, 2020. Thereafter after few months she received a letter to clarify certain expenses made during her tenure. He would submit that the petitioner has carried out 8 works out of which two works were valued, however rest of the work were not valued which too were disclosed by the petitioner while the charges were handed over. Learned counsel submits that now the petitioner is being forced to deposit amount of Rs.30,83,400/- on the ground of misappropriation. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner's representation may be considered.

At this stage this court would not give any finding as to the defence which is been raised by the petitioner. The petitioner since is Ex-Sarpanch she may make a representation to the respondent No.6, Secretary Village Panchayat Surta and the respondent No.3 Joint Collector, Surajpur or respondent No.4 Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat Ramanujnagar and if such representation is filed, the respondents shall decide the same in the facts of this case. It is made clear that this court has not made any observation on the merits of the case. 3.
