1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not releasing the traveling allowances, which the petitioner has undertaken during the period April, 2011 to October, 2012.
2. The petitioner in the present writ petition retired from service from the post of Deputy Director, Social Welfare Department of the State Government on 31.07.2013.
3. The petitioner during the period April, 2011 to October, 2012 undertook various official tours and for which the petitioner had raised his traveling allowances and the Department in turn has also quantified and approved the same of an amount of Rs.1,84,749/-, but though they have approved of the same, but the amount has till date not been released.
4. Given the limited grievance, which the petitioner has raised, let the respondents No.1 & 2 scrutinize the claim of the petitioner in the light of the repeated representations, which the petitioner has made vide his representations dated 21.07.2017, 03.01.2018 & 21.09.2018 and a final decision be taken at the earliest within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
5. In case if the petitioner is entitled for the same, the amount should also be released within a stipulated period.
6. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off.
