1. The petitioner was appointed as Shiksha Karmi Grade-II in the year 2005. She joined at her place of posting on 20.6.2005. After 3 years, she was served with the impugned order dated 22.12.2008 directing her to produce the original record failing which her services shall be terminated.
2. In the Writ Petition, the petitioner states that she has been directed to produce the land record prior to the year 1950 so that her application for issuance of caste certificate is processed. The petitioner has been issued
caste certificate by the Tehsildar, Raigarh and her application for issuance of permanent caste certificate is pending before the respondent No.3 - Sub Divisional Officer, Raigarh. There is no interim order in this writ petition, therefore, it is not known as to what steps were taken by the petitioner's employer or by the petitioner herself during the last 10 years. It appears, the petitioner is not interested in continuing the Writ Petition because cause of action may not be surviving.
3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to revive the same in the event cause of action still survives. Sd/- Judge (Prashant Kumar Mishra) Barve
