1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a widow lady and no one is there to look after her and she had applied for widow pension as per the Scheme of the State by submitting an application to respondent No.4 Deputy director, Social Welfare Department, District Janjgir Champa, but th same is not being decided till date. Therefore, the said application may be directed to be

decided.

2. After perusal of the documents, it appears that the petitioner being a lady claiming widow pension has made an application to respondent no.4 on 18.09.2020. However, despite lapse of considerable time, the said application is not being decided.

3. The petitioner is given liberty to make a fresh application to respondent no.4, the Deputy Director with all relevant documents to claim the pension. On such an application being made within a period of 3 weeks, the same shall be considered and decided within a further period of 45 days.

4. With the above observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.
