1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has in the present writ petition is for appropriate direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment.

2. According to the petitioner his father Late Basant Singh Rathore while discharging his duties as Lecturer(L.B.) died in harness on 01.09.2020. The petitioner thereafter immediately moved an application for compassionate appointment on 19.10.2020, however till date no decision has been taken by the authorities concerned on the said application.

3. State counsel submits that since petitioner's application is still under consideration the same shall be decided at the earliest.

Given the said submissions of the State counsel, the writ petition stands disposed of directing respondent no.1 & 2 to take appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
