The petitioner has filed this petition for issuance of direction to respondent No.3 to expeditiously conclude the proceedings initiated on petitioner's application for settlement of land. 2.

It is submitted that the application for settlement was moved before respondent No.3/ Nayab Tahsildar way back in the year 2010 but till date, the proceedings have not been concluded. 3.

Learned counsel for the State submits that appropriate direction may be given to respondent No.3 to conclude the proceedings and

submit proper recommendation before the Competent Authority to award settlement under the Land Revenue Code.

In view of the above statement, this petition is disposed off with the direction to respondent No.3 to conclude the proceedings at the earliest within an outer limit of four months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
