The applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.195 of 2017 registered at Police Station-Janjgir, District-Janjgir Champa (C.G.) for alleged commission of offence under Section 409, 420, 467 & 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

This is a second application for grant of anticipatory bail. First application for grant of anticipatory bail was rejected by this Court on 13-12-2017. Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that in course of time, the applicant had collected various specimen signature of Sarpanch, which was sent to the Handwriting Expert, who has opined that signature on the questioned document was that of Sarpanch and therefore, the applicant cannot be said to have committed any forgery.

This Court had earlier granted liberty to the applicant to revive the

application after receipt of the report of Handwriting Expert. 4.

Learned State counsel submits that there is nothing on record to show that the report of Handwriting Expert has been obtained at the instance of Investigating Officer to support the document filed by the applicant. 5.

In view of the above, I am of the considered opinion that no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out.

Consequently, the application is rejected.
