The present petition is to quash the FIR dated 07.01.2019 registered at Police Station Dhamdha, District Durg (C.G.). 2.

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that though the petitioner is not the holder of the revenue post, the allegations have been made that he has kept certain documents in connivance with some officers and has demanded money. Learned counsel submits that entire FIR is frivolous and no money has been claimed by the petitioner and he is also not the holder of any revenue post.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the FIR. 4.

Perusal of the FIR shows that certain persons have been named that they demanded money from the villagers to prepare lease papers. If the FIR is quashed at this moment, it would strangulate entire enquiry itself. If the petitioner is claiming that he is not the holder of any revenue post and has not demanded money, it can be made clear during the enquiry. 5.

As such, the petition is dismissed.
