Hon'ble Shri Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal Order On Board /01/2016 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that for grant of proforma promotion to the petitioner, Chief Engineer, Water Resources Department, Raipur has made request to the State Government vide memo dated 2.6.2014 (Annexure

P-3), but till this date no decision has been taken by the State Government in this regard and, therefore, he may be permitted to file fresh representation highlighting his grievances.

(2) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable.

(3) Be that as it may, if the petitioner prefers representation to the State Government for redressal of his grievances within a period of two weeks from today, the authority concerned shall decide the same in view of memo dated 2.6.2015 issued by the Chief Engineer, Water Resources Department, Raipur within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of the representation.

(4) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.

(5) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
