1. The limited grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the unpaid salary for the month of December, 2020 & January, 2021.

2. According to the petitioner, he was duly entitled for salary for the said period. However, the reason best known to the respondents, the salary

has not been released to him for the said period.

3. Learned State counsel submits that the claim of the petitioner is pending consideration before the respondents 2 & 3 and therefore, the said authorities shall take a decision in accordance with law after due verification of the entitlement part at the earliest.

4. Given the said submission by the learned State counsel, the writ petition, at this juncture, stands disposed of directing the respondents 2 & 3 to take an appropriate decision as regards the release of salary of the petitioner in accordance with the rules after due verification of the entitlement of the petitioner, at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner would also be at liberty to make a fresh representation in addition to the representation that he has already made.
